We promote women empowerment in Colombia for those who are disadvantaged by poverty and gender violence by providing the tools to improve their self-confidence and self-esteem. We stand for equality.Donate Now
Girls and women ages 7 and older who are disadvantaged by poverty and gender-based violence will be given the tools they need to build their self-confidence and self-esteem. This program will ultimately empower them to speak up, know their rights, and build a better future for themselves and their community.
In this project, we address various issues such as education, women's rights, menstrual poverty, and various forms of abuse. We debunk gender stereotypes and reduce gender-based violence. By giving our participants the tools to empower themselves, they can shape their own lives.
Our boxing coaches teach participants to set boundaries and discover for themselves where those boundaries are.
Through social and emotional skills training, we create a safe environment where girls and women can be themselves. There, they have the opportunity to openly express their thoughts and feelings in a healthy way while learning to deal with their feelings and past traumas.
This holistic approach aims to promote gender equality in Colombia by helping them feel comfortable in their bodies and minds, and letting participants know they are seen and heard.
This program creates jobs for the people inside the neighborhood so they can financially support themselves and their families. For example, both of our boxing teachers come out of the neighborhood – from the neighborhood, for the neighborhood.
